Product Overview
Pickled steel coil is made from high-quality hot-rolled thin plate, which is processed through a pickling unit to remove the oxide layer, trim edges, and finish. Its surface quality and usage requirements (primarily cold bending formability or stamping performance) are intermediate between those of hot-rolled and cold-rolled plates, making it an ideal substitute for some hot-rolled and cold-rolled plates.
After more than two decades of experience in the pickled plate industry, Huayun New Material has adopted a push-pull type pickling unit independently designed by CERI. It utilizes shallow tank turbulent pickling and a five-stage countercurrent rinse process, equipped with CERI's self-developed disc shears, ensuring dimensional accuracy and stable production. The unit is equipped with an efficient acid mist treatment system to ensure clean and environmentally friendly production processes, achieving high operational efficiency, material yield, and product quality, thus saving costs for customers.
Pickling is a crucial pre-process in cold rolling production aimed at removing iron oxide scales, adjusting coil weight, trimming edges, and providing qualified blanks to the rolling mill to ensure smooth production of high-quality cold-rolled steel products. Currently, the company operates one pickling line with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons and one continuous intelligent pickling line with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons, achieving a total annual output of 1.4 million tons.
With innovative technologies and modern production systems, we can produce steel strips ranging from 2.0mm to 4.5mm in thickness and from 800mm to 1,250mm in width, meeting customer demands for personalized custom services. Our products are now used in industries such as home appliances, containers, electrical control cabinets, among others. The use of hot-rolled pickled plates instead of cold plates is growing rapidly in certain sectors.
Pickling Production Line
Our company currently operates one pickling line with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons. In 2020, we invested in building one continuous intelligent pickling line with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons, reaching a total annual capacity of 1.4 million tons.
We have selected advanced push-pull type pickling unit. The unit adopts the most advanced shallow tank pickling technology, boasting high pre-operation efficiency, low production consumption, and convenient operation. During the pickling process, time is saved and consumption reduced, minimizing production costs for our customers.
Production Strength
In 2020, the company built four new intelligent rolling production lines with an annual output of 1 million tons of high-precision steel plates, one continuous intelligent pickling production line with an annual output of 800,000 tons, and one 8㎡/h environmentally friendly acid regeneration production line. Additionally, the company boasts one galvanized steel production line with an annual output of 250,000 tons, one color-coating steel production line with an annual output of 150,000 tons, and two continuous intelligent pickling production lines with annual outputs of 800,000 tons and 600,000 tons, respectively. By 2023, the company had five 1150 rolling mills with an annual output of 200,000 tons and two 1380 rolling mills with an annual output of 250,000 tons, ensuring the supply of high-quality raw materials required for galvanized steel and color-coated steel production, successfully realizing the high-precision and specialized production of enterprise products and promoting the construction process of the company's core competitiveness.
