The summer heat has not yet dissipated the determination to overcome challenges, and sweat and rain continue to nurture fruitful results. In August, led by the Production Intelligent Manufacturing Plant and jointly participated by Shou Zixin Company, a significant breakthrough was achieved in solving a long-standing equipment problem, successfully overcoming the bottleneck that had restricted the capacity of high-specification products on the color coating line.
Previously, when rolling products with specifications of 0.5mm*1200mm and above, the entry live roller would noticeably shift, making it impossible to run the full set normally. To maintain production, operators could only barely cope by reducing the number of live rollers and the production line speed. This not only severely limited production efficiency but also easily caused edge scratches, strip breaks, and other abnormal shutdowns or product quality issues when the shift was severe, seriously restricting the release of high-specification product capacity.

To address this issue, the Production Intelligent Manufacturing Plant's color coating line fully utilized downtime for maintenance and, with the collaborative support of Shou Zixin technical personnel, carried out a special renovation project. By systematically replacing the entry live roller chain and comprehensively and precisely calibrating the upper, lower, front, and rear rollers of the live roller structure, the equipment's adaptability and operational stability for wide and thin strip steel were significantly improved. Finally, after multi-specification production debugging, the entry live roller now achieves stable full-set operation, completely solving the deviation problem.

After a series of precise technical optimizations and adjustments, the steel strip now achieves highly stable continuous operation in the entry live roller area. This important improvement has completely eliminated the operational risks such as edge scratches and strip breaks caused by severe previous deviations, significantly reducing abnormal shutdowns and quality risks, while greatly lowering equipment failure frequency and safety management pressure. Production efficiency has been substantially improved. Preliminary estimates show that this project can directly increase the production line's steel strip output by nearly 4,000 tons annually, not only creating significant economic benefits but also providing a solid guarantee for the company's sustained, efficient, and stable production.
